The New Year

The Big Lug is taking a nap after work, I'm relaxing in that twilight time between making dinner and eating it, and all's right with the world.  Christmas was wonderful with a house full of family and laughter and food, the week afterward is crazier with its traffic and grumpy people galore.  And, since I've yet to see the deluge of donations hitting the thrifts, it's been a nice bout of shelf-and-window shopping rather than a drain on my funds.
